Why should your company partner with IGOLF?
We believe that golf can make a positive contribution to society. However the media have, justifiably in some cases, pointed out the damage done by golf course operators. IGOLF seeks to address these issues in a positive way, and show that problems have solutions. We hope to provide ideas and useful tools for golf course operators to help natural and social environments flourish, and encourage golfers to play at responsible courses.
We also feel that the corporate sector has an important role to play in the promotion of environmental and social responsibility. Companies can provide eco-friendly opportunities to courses, they can provide training, they can offer publicity for golf operations which are good citizens.
IGOLF has established the IGOLF CAC to give companies the opportunity to make a contribution to the health of our planet and our communities, while promoting their own business interests.
The Corporate Advisory Council is one of three key IGOLF committees (along with the IGOLF Committee of Experts and the IGOLF Partnership Council).
Members of the IGOLF CAC play a vital role in helping to implement the IGOLF program. Moreover, our CAC provides a networking opportunity to foster partnerships and collaborations with other responsible companies interested with golf throughout the world.
