Promoting environmental and social responsibility in golf

Indonesia Golf Association (IGA) / Persatuan Golf Indonesia (PGI)

Established in April 1966.
(The oldest golf club in Indonesia is Rawamangun Golf Club, which was built in 1872)

Type of activity
IGA is the governing body for golf in Indonesia. It is the only organization recognized by the government to look after the development of amateur golf in Indonesia. IGA's mission is to "Organize, manage, coordinate and direct the members of IGA (the members are comprised of 25 provincial branches and 217 golf clubs, and 119 golf courses) in developing and promoting golf sport in Indonesia,  following the international and world standard of golf".

Interest in/activities relating to IGOLF's mission
to actively encourage all golf club members of IGA to implement  environmentally-friendly systems for golf course operation in Indonesia.
