Course description

  • 18-holes, par-72. Nestling below a panoramic mountain range of mountainous peaks, the course is designed around the largest lake in Phuket.
  • The front nine winds around the 48-acre Crystal Lake until you reach the turn when the back nine tracks up into the mountains.

Special features/accolades

  • Floating driving range.

Key achievements in environment/social activities

  • We consistently pursue new energy and water conservation methods and put them in place. We are fortunate to have the biggest lake in Phuket on site from which all of our irrigation water is drawn.
  • Our board or directors are always reaching out to communities-in-need surrounding our complex. One example:  our local school (Barn Mai Riab),  where many of our employee’s children study, was in drastic need of landscaping services and a grassed football field. Loch Palm Golf Club did the landscaping, sending in staff, earth moving equipment, grass from our nursery and also passed on knowledge to the school’s gardeners.
  • The course site was previously a tin mine, building on this superb area of slopes and elevations has not only introduced a fantastic golf course but helped restore a wasteland and introduce ecology in the region.

Philosophy
“We see ourselves as having created a golfing community, since we not only have an exceptional golf course but many of our members live in adjacent villas and housing that are part of the complex. Because of this “family feeling” we realize that we have to be environmentally responsible in all aspects of our operations. And we recognize that we have a responsibility to be good neighbors and support the local community though various development projects.”
