- West Course - opened 1994
Designed by Chen King Shih measuring 6795yds
The West course has narrow tree lined fairways with large gentle greens. - East Course - opened 1997
Designed by Lee Trevino measuring 6922yds
The East course has open fairways protected with small undulating greens.
Special features/accolades
Vietnam Golf and Country Club is located on a 300 ha property with a large 40 ha preserved forest area between the two courses.
Key achievements in environment/social activities
- Vietnam Golf and Country Club uses a minimalist approach to fertilizer and pesticide applications. Slow release fertilizer sources are used when possible to prevent any nutrient leaching or runoff.
- IPM strategies to maintain natural checks and balances are used to reduce chemical usage and natural solutions are used when possible.
- Vietnam Golf and Country Club recycles the by-product of the manufacturing of MSG from a nearby industrial park as a liquid organic fertilizer. This is used in the club's fertigation system, applying small amounts of nutrients with each watering.
- Vietnam Golf and Country Club actively supports families of war veterans, education scholarships, and contributes to other community development schemes.
- Vietnam Golf and Country Club is a major sponsor and founder of the 'Swing for Life’ Charity tournament, running since 1999 and raises more than 75,000usd annually to purchase hospital and other medical equipment for the local communities.
